ABSolutely Defined

ABSolutely Defined is a private, fully equipped Pilates-Wellness studio that also offers GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® classes located in Arcadia Lite Phoenix, AZ. As a one-on-one studio each session is  customized to focus on your goals, injuries, and fitness level. It is a mind-body studio to help improve core strength, posture, alignment, flexibility, and balance no matter what  age or what fitness level you are beginning at. ABSolutely Defined's mission is to help prevent/heal injuries so you can perform more efficiently in sports and everyday life while improving overall health.

Pilates method is a low impact workout using spring resistence machines for a full body workout. Pilates focuses on movement and creating space in your body. The movements create fluidity in the body while the springs increase overall strength and health. It is a mindfulness workout that focuses on smaller stabalizing muscles before superficial muscles. The movements originate from the core which improves the bodies posture, balance, coordination,  and flexibility.

GYROTONIC® method is an original and unique movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength.

GYROTONIC® exercise sequences are composed of spiraling, circular movements which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions with corresponding breath patterns. Each movement flows into the next allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength, and flexibility.
